    Apology's if this has been asked/covered before. Does anyone know of a realistically priced upgrade (bigger discs etc) for the back brakes on my A6 quattro avant 1998? Any info would be fandabidosy

    I am at a loss why you would want to upgrade just the rear brakes and upset the braking balance of the car. The fristion material, discs and swept are are chosen to maintain the optimum balance to stop the care as quickly as possible and in a straight line. I.E. not swopping ends. Regards Peter

    Fair point! I'm upgrading the fronts to A8 discs so I want make the back better as per your point. I'm just not aware of what will fit etc on the back.. Thanks for the info tho.
