    Default emission problem – 17-09-2010,08:51 PM
    looking at buying a 99 reg polo 1.4. Failed MOT nearly every year due to

    "Exhaust emissions Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (7.3.D.2b)"


    is this sign of underlying problem ? or nothing to worry about.

    Probably driven too slowly and gets clogged up, a good thrashing normally sorts them out.
    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...
