    hi guys,

recently purchased an audi a4 1.8T sport which im very happy with. however the stereo is shocking. i have fitted a good pioneer head unit and some alpine speakers in the door cards. the rear speakers are not connected and the covers have been removed. want to amp up and fit some nice vibe 6x9's. can do it all apart from the 6x9 bit. seems like a real pain in the **** with the metal underneath and not being able to remove anything easily is just adding to the frustration..

any comments or how to's very welcome..

    thanks

You have to remove the parcel shelf cover to get to the rear deck speakers. This is only easy if you have rear folding seats. the deck cover just pops up and slides out, remembering to unplug the cyclops brake light beforehand. Then you just fit proper 6.5" speakers using the appropriate adapter ring.
