My back has been killing me since I bought my A4 SE (2006)
I can't believe that lumbar support is an extra in a car of this price. It's been many years since I owned a car without Lumbar support. I have had to buy a Lumbar roll which is very inconvenient.
My boss was all set to buy a car like mine but went right off it when I told him about it.
Even cheap Korean cars have them !
    Rant over.

It's a 1.9 TDI SE and was registered in Feb. 2006
It is a UK car. I just assumed they didn't have it as standard but you think it should be there ?

go to parkers .co.uk You can find all the options for your car there. On mine the electric lumbar surport was 200 quid option with the leather seats mine has which are non heated as this was another option. It does get a bit con fusing

copy this into your search bar http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/...px?deriv=29466

You didnt say it had leather seats..

I have just checked and the lumbar is standard on an SE with cloth seats..

As you upgraded to leather.. your only option was the eletric lumbar support or do without.

Mine has the cloth seats and definitely no lumbar support. No dial for the lumbar seat there either. Do you think that this could have been a mistake in the manufacture ?

If you read the spec sheet for yours from Parkers it defiantly says Lumbar support £200 option on the SE model.
