This seems like such a poor part of the design that I can't be the only person who finds this annoying; yet a search of these forums gives no results.
Does anybody else experience this? Has anybody found a solution?
Here are some keywords for others who might be Googling with this problem:
boot trunk water leaking rain opening tailgate bootlid
My car is a saloon, so I can't comment about the A6 Avant doing this, but can confirm that Mrs F's TT Coupe has exactly the same problem. We invested in a boot liner for it, mostly to keep the carpets dry.
