    Hello

Was wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or can shine any light on this fault.

The coolant gauge in my 1.8 1999 audi cabriolet is is only working intermittently. I ve checked the supply on the sender which i think should be between 9.8 and 10.2 volts but im only getting 3 ish.

The audi manual i ve managed to get hold of recommends checking the current flow diagram (which i cant seem to find anywhere? any suggestions?) or the voltage across the voltage stabilizer.

My fuel gauge is also a bit tempermental and the supply voltage is showing 11.5 instead of the above voltage.

Id like to check everything i can before i start changing components in vain hope.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

    Rich
