Had a phone call from Nick, the owner and mech of Car Services.
he did the cam belt and removed my faulty AC pump.
I orignaly asked him to remove the Pump and do some other bits to car but cause the price went more than my budget I told him to just do the cam belt.
but he removed the AC pump for me any way.
    Happy with that.

I'm off to pick it up now. I'll get it home and check it out, make sure every thing is put back where its ment to be, no scratches, missing clips, nuts or bolts and i'll let you all know.

Well, had my car in on friday. All in all pretty happy with it. They scared me a wee bit but it was all fine in the end!
Dropped it off n they said they'd be about an hour. I'd been quoted an hour n a half's labour so was pretty happy with that. wathced them drive it in n get started as I walked off to get lunch.
After having lunch n sitting on the hoe watching pretty ladies go by for about an hour I realised it'd been over an hour n a half they'd been working on it.
Took a long walk to take a leak, got an ice cream, now its over 2 hours, starting to think the bill's gonna be a bit big.
Half hour later they still aint rung so thought I'd take a slow walk over there.
Got there n it'd been about 2 n three-quarter hours since I left it. Said I knew thewy haddn't rung me but could I just wait there, they were fine with that n said they were just finishing up.
When it got to over 3 hours I was gettin gpretty worried about the bill!
Anyway, they finished it, took it out for a pretty long test drive n when I got the bill they cahrged me for an hour n a quarters labour!Happy days!
Although I'd like to know what they were doing for the other hour n three-quarters?! Haha!
Bill came to £20 more than I expected as I forgot about workshop consumables and the fact I'd need a couple litres of coolant.
Car's running sweet n back to how it should be.

    Hi Chaps,
New to VW after coming from several BMWs and a Ford...
I'm after some parts retrofitting to the Scirocco - does anyone do this in Plymouth?

    Thanks
    Brad
