    Got my bumper on,

Jetta bumper 13 pounds (had a small crack)
    GTI grille 40 pounds
Spraying 80 pounds (including plastic welding the crack)

Got the grilles and jetta spoiler on order at TPS with discount

    Been a cheap upgrade

Modding the bumper was easy, theres a line moulded into the bumper already, I just cut along the line.

The only problem I have is the grille doesn't seem to slot into the bumper properly, it sits too high so you can pull the bottom of it out. Its lined up nicely with the top panel. Does yours fit properly?

i had that, but then i saw the front grill sorts in at the bottom to hold it tight then clips in on top so its solid, it totally changes the look of the car

Very useful thread! I have been trying to find this information for the last week and 5 minutes after joining this forum I find the information I was looking for.

I'm selling my BMW 330ci Sport and planning to get a Golf 2.0tdi, if any one is interested let me know.

I wanted to know if it was possible to fit the GTi bumper. If you don't mind me asking how much will this have cost you in the end?

Also, are there any other cosmetic difference between the GTi and TDi?
