    Hi

Guys just had my Audi A6 upgraded with AMI unit by the guys at Richtersport. I asked if the SW upgarde would effect the Bluetooth and they stated that they didnt activate that element.

So i start my journey home well pleased with the new AMI solution, but when i tried to make a call the display stated that the phone was not connected. I pulled over thinking there were issues and re-connected my phone. Everything seemed ok all my phone book and contacts were displayed.

Howvere when i receievd a call picked it up ok and heard the caller but they couldnt hear me, thinking that it ws a bad area i retried a couple of people and each time i heard them clearly but they couldnt hear me.

Is it possible that the work Richtersport did caused issues with the microphone element of the Bluetooth (i am not sure where this is loacted) or if the software upgarde affected it.

In the meantime i will re-pair the phone again see if that helps.

    Any ideas would be appriciated.

    Cheers

ps should be noted that i used the Bluetooth for extensive conference calls on my way to Richtersports in the morning !!

If this is 2g then the mmi update is not complete so re run the update to flash the bt.To add mmi you need to flash mmi but if they just ran disc 3 then that is the fault as you need to run disc 1 and 2 then disc 3.
Soft coding the ami only involves adding the media position on the gateway so the vag com changes should not affect the bt nor should the install but mmi sw update will if not completed correctly.
Failing that ask them to check the mic in address 77.
The only way to avoid bt update is to run disc three or bypass the bt with a most repeater but disc 3 update changes the sound package so you need to run 1 & 2 so the sw versions are in line
