My driver’s door has dropped; need to know what involved in realigning the door again.
From what I can see it’s just the pivot pint in the upper hinge that needs replacing (if that makes sense)? Or is there more to the story?
    Help

    I have an A6 2006.
My door has dropped also. The front of the drivers door rubs on the back of the front fender. As the door closes it does not alaign with the striker on the car body. It hits and rises up and latches. I have loosened the bolts on the hindge to the body of the car but can't seem to get any movement. It seems to me that I would move the lower hindge towards the back of the car. The top hindge would go forward and this would raise the alaignment of my door. Also these bolts are hard to get too. The torkes bolts on the door seem to adjust the door and fender so they are in the same plane. I could take the door off with the torke bolts but is this nesesary?
