    Hi,

I recently serviced my wifes beetle, Oil and filter, Air, pollen and fuel filters, Now the little spanner has illuminated on the display for the service reminder. Is it possible to reset this via the dash or does it need plugging in to vagcom ?, The car is a 2006 2.0 litre auto model.
I have done a search on the forum but most of the methods involve using the trip and clock adjust on the dash but there is no clock adjust like on the golfs or my T4.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Many Thanks.
    Matt.

On my wife's 2001, it was reset after a service by an independent by simply turning the key to position 1 and holding the tripometer down for 5 seconds. Hope this helps.
