My brother in law is looking at a user VW T5. It’s a 2015 with 110k on the clock.
Are there any DPF issues with this model at this age & mileage? A quick google suggests some try and regenerate too often and have issues that get quite expensive to sort?
Also any other issues we should look out for?

I would think there wouldn't be an issue at that mileage. It's usually low mileage which causes DPF issues. VCDS may give you a measurement on the DPF load if you can access one.
Yes I have had to do a few DPF cleans on the 2L 4 cylinder models, fact of life with a diesel though-no way around it.
