Uploading and posting pictures - a walkthrough - updated June 2013

You have an image you'd like to include in your post but this image is saved on your computer. How do you get it online and into your post?

There are a lot of photo-hosting sites out there. www.photobucket.com is free, and fairly straight forward to use. You'll need to register there first of course.

Once registered, sign yourself in and you should see the following screen;

Press the Upload button and proceed to the next stage.

Photobucket will now ask you to select the files - Press Browse Files and select the image from your computer. If you wish to select multiple images, press the CTRL button while selecting

If you have an album, you can select to upload the image to there, but the default is Library.

Select the image you want and press Open

The image will now be uploaded

When Photobucket says the image has been uploaded, click the image or if you have uploaded numerous pictures, press View Library (or the album you selected)

When the image is open, look for the IMG tag on the right hand screen and press on the link and this will be copied to your clipboard

Now go back into VWAF and paste the link into the reply box like below

Press Post Reply and your image will be shown in the post as below.
