OP You could take a sample of oil and get it tested. I used to have a Land Rover discovery sport diesel and there is a design flaw with the DPF setup which meant lots of people suffered from oil dilution (see that forum, it’s painful story), despite the claimed 2 yrs / 20k service intervals. I got rid of mine before it became a problem.
Do you know a reliable way to tell when an active regen cycle is happening, or even better a way to force one? Only way I can think of whilst driving is via stop/start being disabled but then that requires stopping!
