Hi, So I have a mystery wire near the front passesnger fog light and what looks like the temperature sensor. I don't know what it's supposed to connect to and whether there's something missing?
There is a number on the plug "030 971 921"

Looks like the one I left unconnected to the horn on our car after working on fog light (not an A1). Spotted it just before taking to MOT, which it would have failed! I'm not one of those drivers that has a lot of use for it ;).
So does the horn work?
Yes, the horn does work, there is one on the other (driver's) side. Could it be for dual tone horn?

Where did the car go after the damaging incuden? Seems like various things got removed. Were they all likely to have been damaged, or did someone start stripping for parts?
Yes, it does look the same, I've ordered one to try out.
It's my nieces car and it went to a "bodyshop" to have a new wing and other body work done. I've no doubt they've removed things to fix it and then probably didn't know what they've taken off.
It had been with them for months so I decided to finish the rest of it myself.
