Woolwich Attack (split from WGYG thread)
After this weeks events it is said that there is a backlash onto those that follow a certain totalitarian despotic ideology.
Really?
That backlash is most likely confined almost exclusively to people voicing their anger online.
It is hardly comparable and some of those are even being charged for it.
But what really grinds my gears about this is that the members of the said ideology have perversely twisted, with the help of the lef'tarded media, this round and are claiming victim status themselves.
Speechless :firedevil
...................because saying and telling the truth could have you up on a charge !

I'm no apologist for the murdering ********, but if tarring 'them' all with the same brush is used as a yardstick for 'us', we're all members of the EDL etc.
What grinds my gears is those clowns who speak on 'Thought for the day' on Radio 4 (yes, I like the BBC, but not that). A day or so after the killings someone in the Christian church was praising the undoubted courage of the woman who confronted one of the murderers. In doing so he quoted the phrase 'If you can keep your head when all those around you are losing theirs...'
What planet was he on? I just hope none of the grieving family was listening.
Religion is a curse on humanity.

To a point but a distinction needs to be made.
Most religions are just that, one however goes beyond and controls every single aspect of the followers life.
Most also, have had unspeakable violence and suffering carried out in their name but have adapted in the last half a millenia, except one which I shall not specifically mention.
Re: What grinds your gears?
If you can keep your head when all those around you are losing theirs you don't understand the gravity of the situation. I will throw my 2 bobs worth in here. . The totalitarian despotic ideology members have a DUTY to convert or eliminate infidels or non believers. No other ideology is tolerated nor can it be if you are a member. Intolerance, superstition, literalism (from a long dead man's dreams) and misogony are some of the tenants to be adhered to. Anyone who is married or in a relationship with a woman will be aware of how difficult it is to reason or put forth different views to someone that is always right. Now try it with someone that is not only always right but has God on their side and has a 007 style licence to kill you if you don't fall into line. IMHO there are very few lone wolves or mavericks.

Totalitarian despotic ideology, TDI for short. It is important not to specifically mention it.
Here in the West it claims victim status for the most obtuse and undeserved of reasons. It consumes more and more special treatment and dispensations to accommodate it, it is made to feel more than welcome.
What does it do? You'd think it would embrace the welcome and accommodations made to it but instead it figuratively spits in the face and just demands ever more unreasonable accommodations.
Still, mustn't grumble as it is all part of the great multi-culti experiment that has been foisted upon us without any of us being asked if it is ok.

You can blame socialism for that one, plain and simple and if they get back in, it will start again.

I saw a great quote the other day from someone saying "most of us muslims view these extremists the same way that most christians view the westboro baptist church".
Re: What grinds your gears?
I work with a lot of Muslims both black and white and they aren't all terrorists etc, recently you can read the look of shame on some of their faces, and my personal take on it is two black African descents decided to use Islam to cover up what is simply a typical African tribal attack, they do this stuff to each other in the various hell hole countries that make up the African continent,
Anyway regardless, this is how to look at it, the bad Muslim is driven by a mafia type who uses the threat of not conforming to their gods will to motivate the soldier while he sits up top scooping off the creme of life,
So is it fair to advocate that the Muslim shopkeeper get his share of the revenge for what someone else did, or shall we sit back and look deeper and think to ourselves that we can't hold someone responsible when they had nothing to do with it?
The thing most don't know is that Muslims come in many forms, each has it's own teachings, I'll give you a breakdown
Eastern Europe, white Muslims who do not do the fasting and praying all the time
Asia i.e Bangladesh,Pakistan etc these do pray, fast etc and it's expected of them
Africa I'm unsure how to describe these but they certainly don't use the code that the Asian and Arabians do
Arabia where stern punishment is metered out for the simplest of crimes
Basically guys you can get good and bad in all, if what has happened ends up in a civil war type thing then I guess we've learned nothing since 1945, now join my crusade to rid the world of extremists if we all pull together and root out these evil bast....s the rest of us can get along just fine.
Re: What grinds your gears?
I think that the vast majority of people in this country all feel/think the same about this - - - this horrific incident is nothing to do with the Muslim community, or any other community for that matter, but rather a few individuals that have chosen to operate outwith the law; therefore, the only right thing to do is for them to be dealt with as individuals for the crime they committed.
We do have a problem in this country though, and its not going to go away unless some decisive action is taken - and fast.
I saw this video the other day, and was horrified to hear and see what was going on. Now, I don't give two hoots who you are, where you come from, what your religion/sex/size/sexual preference or anything else is - it makes not a jot of difference to me. But, I DO have a problem when behaviour like that seen in the video is not only allowed to go unchecked, but more often than not is afforded Police support to let it take place!
If I walked down the street behaving and talking in that manner, I would (rightly) be arrested. Now, that surely can't be right?
And that is the problem - one rule for one group, and another rule for the rest. We have spent so much time in this country sh*tting ourselves lest we 'offend' people from various faiths or groups that we have completely failed to hold those groups to the letter of the law. It is high time that the playing field was levelled.
There can be NO room for racism -but that HAS to be upheld in all directions, and not just to favour certain groups.
