I managed to unclip the sender unit with its O ring, without disconnecting the fuel pipes. Measuring the sender unit, it reads 6K Ohms at ambient (today) and about 1.5 in hot water, so it seems to functioning. With the ignition on, the connector has 5 volts on the pins. So, unlikely to be a wiring fault but maybe the sender is out of range. I will get a new one, but does Anyone know what the sender resistance range should be ?
