Hi all
Buying a gti 63 plate from a dealer that has told me it has the performance pack as advertised.
How can I find out if this is the case?
When I put reg number in for my insurance comes up with 220ps would this be right?
Vehicle has 18' austin and standard brakes but has pan roof and from reading a Jezza Clarkson article in telegraph about gti he said you don't get upgraded wheels with performance pack with pan roof so who knows!
Anyways anyone tell me how I find out for sure?

I'm in a quandry over what to do....mk7 GTIs are hard to come by where I live, Norwich and I really like them.
The PP has bigger brakes and a fancy diff, but both are only noticeable when driving hard, 90% of the time you will not see any difference. As long as it is priced accordingly I would say buy it if you are happy with the car, but if the dealer is pricing it as the PP, which was nearly £1000 extra, then you need to renegotiate.
