A4 B6 - Replace Stereo or Use xCarLink?
Cant decide whether to replace my Symphony II with a new aftermarket stereo, or get an xCarLink and use that whilst keeping the OEM stereo?
The central information screen between the speedo and dash would look bad if the top third was just blanked out due to an aftermarket stereo.
Does anyone have any experience with either?
I'm leaning more towards the xCarLink as it's hard to find a Double DIN stereo that matches the aesthetic of the interior.
How hard are they to fit?
Many thanks!

It seems as if you're having exactly the same thoughts as myself, I've ranged from 2nd hand RNS-e unit as it has sat nav which you won't get with the Xcarlink but for the number of times I use sat nav I could stick with my ageing Garmin although obviously doesn't look as nice as a built in unit. The Mk.1 RNS-e's are apparently quite slow and the Mk.2's people are asking £600 upwards for so I started looking at Android head units and considering fitting one of these - XTRONS 7" Octa-Core Android 8.0 In Car DVD Player GPS Stereo DAB+ Audi A4 S4 RS4 | eBay :)
