Quality aftermarket Alloys

Hi Guys, I'm in the process of looking for a new motor, most probably a BiTdi Allroad if I can find a tidy used one. I'd probably be keen to upgrade the alloys as many are fitted with 18" wheels, which would become my Winter choice. I upgraded my current cars (B8 S4) alloys with 19" segment alloys from WTS, which was four years ago and they're still mint despite Scotlands roads. Can anyone suggest any other quality Alloys that I could source a little closer to home. WTS had to be ordered direct from Italy.
I'm looking at the RS6C type in gun metal in a 19 or 20".

Absolutely no point in having all the power of the BiTdi and riding on skimpy 235's in the summer months if you're going to enjoy all that power. Winter is a different kettle of fish however. I still don't get your point, as the Allroad is routinely fitted with 19 and 20" alloys. I don't think a big butch car like the Allroad looks right with 18" wheels. Car also felt soft cornering with the 235/55's.

That's a tall profile 235 55 .

Increasing unsprung mass has a handling , damping , mpg and acceleration loss .

My bitdi came with 18" wheels with 245/45 tyres. Horrible Bridgestone Potenzas. I used the 18s for winter tyres and got a set of 19s for summer with Michelin tyres. Improved the cornering a little but it's such a big car that you can't really push it too much.

Check out GMP (Professional alloy wheels - G.M.P. GROUP srl). They distribute in the UK through a UK OEM and that's where I've sourced most of my wheels. My allroad's on 18" gunmetal (virtually Daytona Grey) wheels for winter otherwise I'd attach or send a photo (think there's one I posted if you search "mud and snow").

The UK OEM supplies some prestige marques so that should give you some confidence in GMP too assuming one of their "in the style of..." designs appeals e.g. GMP "Atom".

Just placed a deposit on my allroad's possible replacement, so I hope my extra wheels (OE 19s and aftermarket 18s) will be compatible next winter.
