Same here , I don't condone it , I'm all for less smoke .
To buy a car with the main vin info sticker missing looks well dodgy and awkward when they actually realise and U turn the one vin rule .
Just passed the MOT. They tested it at 0.80 even with no sticker it passed comfortably. Was 0.01
All it needed was a new EGR, a bottle of emissions reduced to clear the crap out of it and a good long drive
Removing the sticker was never going to work when they've already recorded the manufacturers smoke coefficient value of 0.80 and probably future mot's ?
0.01 , I doubt it , thats dpf territory .
