Michelin Pilot Primacy tyres

Hi, I have recently acquired a spare set of oe alloys for my Sportback Sport. Both these and my original wheels are fitted with 225/45x17 Pilot Primacy which are an asymmetric tyre with 3 large grooves running the whole circumference offset to one side.

The odd thing is that, although both sets of tyres are correctly fitted with the wall marked "outside" on the outside of the tyre, on my original wheels the large grooves are offset to the outside, while on the "new" wheels they are offset to the inside. The only other difference I can spot is that my originals were made in Germany, the others Brazil.

Does anyone know any thing about this? I assume provided I do not mix the 2 types on the same "axle" I should be ok.
