Audi A6 MY2006 2.0TFSi S-Line. Front Brakes

Only the second time i have posted on here.

I have ordered online, new discs and pads for my 2006 A6 and am looking to self fit them, as i refuse to pay Audi the ridiculous sum of £373.91 to replace them.

So My question to you all is. When changing the brakes will i have to get the brake warning light reset or is it a simple sensor replacement? Or will the vehicle just auto reset once the new items are installed?
