I bought a new pair from my dealer a little while ago Chris......as stated they're usually available ex stock and not really that pricey either.
I personally have started checking under passenger front/rear footwell carpet every three months or so as not only does pipework come apart at joins but
They are also pretty good for brake pads and discs......got myself a set of EBD discs and pads from them and were easily the cheapest I could find...and
Just experience but autodata list it as 9-10 litres too. You wont be able to empty the engine so i would say to buy a 5L can of concentrated antifreeze
