    Yes, it is called HIP treatment for Hot Isostatic Pressing. The tool is called T10262 and thinking about it, you can probaly just tap the carrier off

    Anything even approaching +/-1 is a problem. Stick a can of powerful cleaner in, Nirox I think, easy to get on a near empty tank and half fill it with

    I can now answer my own question, the heads can't be skimmed because it removes a coating which stops porosity. Just leaves the elephant-in-the-room special

    It is £1975 from an Audi dealers parts department. A TPS MAY serve you and give you 10% discount BUT the TPS warranty system is a not fit for purpose joke so if you aren’t trade, buy it from Audi.
