    93 A3, you mean 2003? Yes it will fit but you would need EVERYTHING else in the engine bay and I suspect the ECU could not be matched to the immobiliser

    N 101 045 01, an M7x18, a very rare thread spec on a VW except on the gearbox of some versions. It does not come with thread lock so we use some.

    Yeah I jacked it up and took the archliner out

    The pully is in front of you then , so better access just seems odd that the centre torx

    It should tighten up, yes. The other half of the plate assembly is held on by three screws and attach to the pulley.
