    Re: Adaptive Cruise Assist

Well, it works, as it stops/starts the car. I think, the difference between the TJA and the ACC is, that the ACC doesn't control the wheel below the threshold

    Re: Adaptive Cruise Assist

Yes, correct. But I believe it is because the car has Stop and Go function too. Simple stand alone ACC won't work below 20.

    Re: DPF not regenning?

I think I probably will go down the cleaning route. I know for a fact if I go to Audi they will want me to remortgage my house and sell a leg.

    Re: Adaptive Cruise Assist

You are right. The ACC works from zero, but as far as I remember, you can't preset a speed limit below 20mph/30kmh.

    Re: Audi A1 airbag swap

I'd go with advice like this: Airbag Coding - Ross-Tech Wiki. Given what you're doing buying a VCDS cable and selling it again once the car is sorted

Re: Retrofit B7 Seats to B6

Indeed. I tried to work if you'd be able to use old runners with new padded sections, etc by making a Frenken-seat but looks like not.

Looks like the one I left unconnected to the horn on our car after working on fog light (not an A1). Spotted it just before taking to MOT, which it would

Re: Retrofit B7 Seats to B6

All the part codes for rail, seat base, etc look like they change as you go from B6 to B7, and similarly for Golf, Jetta, etc around that time. So I

The problem with that approach is that there is no current loss to be compensated, which is a fundamental necessity for any claim. Similarly, unless

Re: 12v Wire through bulkhead or rear fuse box?

Based again on the Sharan platform again I don't think there is. It looks like a direct feed from 80A fuse SA4 at the engine to the SD fuse holder.

    Re: Cow boy dealer

Keep in mind that all you can reasonably ask for is for the car to be returned to the condition it was in when it originally arrived at the dealer.

    Re: Adaptive Cruise Assist

I thought it was 2 seconds wait before you need to pull the lever to reactivate on the pre FL models.. and it can handle speed up to40mph before switching
