    Use a brick or bit of wood to hold car so the weight of the car isnít on the gearbox.

    Thanks for the reply, the car isnít parked on the road itís in a friends drive so little chance of a bump. (Iíve probably jinxed that now).

    You really shouldnít leave it in park only as thereís only a pin in the gearbox that holds the car so if someone bumps you it can break the gearbox. A

    Pfl has the mmi 3G/+, think the plus bit was the Audi connect and SIM card. Fl came with the 4g unit which is the mib.

    I tried it with a set of jump leads attached and also with another new battery with no luck. There are no fault codes at all on VCDS. Very strange.
