    You have either damaged the check valve seals (did you replace them and did you lubricate them with Diesel?) or you have cracked the check valve itself,

    Sorry maybe a better explanation now I have had a look

    Change the filter, this was very easy.
    Filled new filter with fuel before connecting

    I had a steering angle sensor fault (can't remember the exact code) after doing the timing belt on an A3 (2.0 Tdi BKD). It was a red steering wheel picture
