    Try Gumtree and maybe Ebay for someone with Vcds in your area. Theres no comparison with a cheap reader and Vcds, youll be missing loads of info.

    It can be done by vagcom but only up to the first few hundred miles from 0 or so as far as I remember.

    Thanks Crasher, definitely no SAFE on the dash. Fuel filter full and will check the pumps tomorrow. Will also have a look at the fuel tank delivery unit

    It depends on which version you have gone for. If it’s anything less than a Vorsprung then it’s probably going to be manual.
