    SEAT has unveiled two sporty new trim levels – FR and FR Sport – for the head of its SUV family, the Tarraco.

    Offering enhancements to the exterior, interior and technology package, these two options complete the full range line-up for Tarraco.

    The seven-seater Tarraco, the latest and largest of SEAT’s acclaimed SUV range, is available to order from February 11, with prices starting from Ł31,680 RRP.

    The FR exterior body styling DNA fuses performance, practicality and sporty-appeal that perfectly suits their needs.     Enyaq is the name of ŠKODA’s first electric SUV based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB). With its first all-electric SUV, ŠKODA is establishing a new naming convention that combines the ‘E’ in reference to electromobility and the ‘Q’ characterising the final letter of ŠKODA’s successful SUV family.


    The name of the new ŠKODA Enyaq is derived from the Irish name ‘Enya’, meaning ‘source of life’. Enya itself comes from the Irish Gaelic word ‘Eithne’, meaning ‘essence’, ‘spirit’ or ‘principle’. These different meanings allow different perspectives on the name of ŠKODA’s new SUV. The ‘source of life’ symbolises the start of a new era as the car manufacturer enters into electromobility.

    As the groundswell of demand for electric mobility builds Audi is moving to make its growing EV and PHEV ranges ever more accessible through new models like the e-tron 50, which is now available for UK ordering priced from Ł59,900 OTR.     The Volkswagen Polo has been invigorated with the addition of a Match trim level, adding a host of extra equipment over the award-winning Polo SE which it replaces, with only a minor revision in price.


    Replacing the second-tier SE trim in the Polo range, Match adds 15-inch ‘Seyene’ alloy wheels, front fog lights, rear tinted-windows, and front and rear parking sensors – equipment which, if specified as options on the Polo SE, would cost Ł980.

    As per the outgoing SE, the Polo Match gets three engine and gearbox configurations – all 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol units. The 80 PS EVO engine is available with a five-speed manual, while the 95 PS turbocharged unit can be combined with a five-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG transmission. Low running costs are promised by both engines, with WLTP-certified CO2 emissions of 125 - 139 g/km, while fuel economy on the combined WLTP cycle ranges from 42.8 to 51.4 mpg.

    The Polo Match starts at Ł16,465 RRP OTR for the 80 PS variant, which represents a Ł785 value boost over the outgoing SE version given the generous amount of standard equipment and small price rise of Ł200.

    Check oil change intervals, if not done regularly you can suffer with the dreaded cam chain tinkle. Gearbox should ideally have it's oil changed around

    We would start by checking out fuel pump relay is energised. It would rule out a lot either going back or forwards
