    • World Premiere at the IAA: Volkswagen presents open-top version of its successful crossover model
    • Enjoy the open air at the push of a button: soft top opens in nine seconds
    • “Always on”: integrated eSIM with the latest-generation modular infotainment matrix (MIB3)

Volkswagen breathes fresh air into the SUV segment with the world premiere of the new T-Roc Cabriolet1. The open- top version expands the range of the popular crossover model, adding yet more lifestyle to the booming SUV market. The new T-Roc Cabriolet sees its official presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) from 12 to 22 September. The launch will take place in spring 2020.

The T-Roc Cabriolet – the first crossover cabriolet in the compact class – offers just the right combination of strikingly extroverted design, raised seating characteristic of an SUV, a high degree of flexibility and the unique driving experience of a convertible.

    The soft top:
Following the tradition of the Beetle and the Golf, the T-Roc Cabriolet likewise has a classic soft top. Its standard fully automatic roof opens in just nine seconds. It can open and close even while the car is in motion, at speeds of up to 30 km/h. The soft top unlocks and locks electromechanically.

Safety down to the last detail:
Guests in the T-Roc Cabriolet are well guarded by the roll-over protection, which can be extended behind the rear seats. The system springs upwards in the area of the rear headrests within a fraction of a second, in response to exceeding ...

    • Conversion options includes police, fire and rescue and ambulance variants
    • Five-star NCAP rating gives blue light fleets the best safety standards
    • Reliability, practicality and value for money are the standout attributes for blue light forces in the UK

The newly launched Scala has been called into service to join the ranks of ŠKODA’s celebrated blue-light fleet line-up.

The ŠKODA Scala’s advanced driver assistance and safety features make it an ideal partner for the emergency services. The brand also offers a ‘one-stop shop’ for blue-light fleets that includes full vehicle conversion, which sees the generous interior – with a vast 467 litre boot (extendable to 1,410 litres with rear seats folded down) – able to fit both passengers and equipment, comfortably.

The new Scala is one of the safest cars in its segment and has achieved the full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating giving added peace of mind for both driver and passengers on emergency high-speed call outs. Designed with a range of driver assistance systems
the Scala includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist with City Emergency Brake and Lane Assist.

The compact car also features Side Assist that detects vehicles approaching from behind or that are in the car’s blind spot. • Bentley Corniche rises from the ashes thanks to complete re-creation by Mulliner
    • Traditional coachbuilding skills combine with original and newly manufactured parts
    • The return of a pivotal model in Bentley’s history
    • Original 1939 Corniche was lost in a wartime bombing raid in France
    • Re-created Corniche to debut at Salon Privé in September and then join Bentley heritage fleet for display at events and exhibitions around the world

Bentley has re-created a long-lost car from its illustrious past that provides a crucial link in the history of its most important models. The ground-up rebuild of the only 1939 Corniche ever made highlights the marque’s pedigree of design and technological innovation, the breadth of skills within Mulliner’s bespoking division, and connects the fabled Embiricos 4Ľ Litre and R Type Continental.

The only car of its type now in existence thanks to the skills of Mulliner, the Corniche was conceived to be a high performance version of the new MkV saloon, itself a technological advance that was due to be launched in October 1939.

The styling of the Corniche was a radical step forward from the traditional Bentleys of the 1920s and ‘30s, introducing ‘Streamlining’ to help deliver greater speed and performance, and heavily influenced post-war models from the R Type Continental right through to the current Continental GT.

The original Corniche was lost in France in 1939 at the outbreak of World War II. It was extensively damaged in a traffic accident whilst undergoing road tests in France in August 1939. Sent for repairs, the chassis made it home to the Bentley plant in Derby, but the bodywork was destroyed in a bombing raid on Dieppe later in 1939 and was never seen again.

    Until now.

The project was originally started several years ago by volunteers

New citycarver specification gives the technologically advanced and city-friendly subcompact hatchback a more rugged stance

    • Exterior design with robust off-road look with octagonal Singleframe and around four centimetres more ground clearance
    • Cutting-edge infotainment components and extensive digital connectivity
    • Available to order in the UK from September in conjunction with 116PS 1.0 TFSI (30 TFSI) and 150PS 1.5 TFSI (35 TFSI) engines

Prospective drivers of the already innately city-friendly Audi A1 will soon have the option to make their car look even more urban-ready by choosing a new citycarver specification that takes a tougher stance. New citycarver versions of the A1 will be available to order in the UK in conjunction with 30 TFSI and 35 TFSI petrol engines from September, and will begin arriving with customers in the autumn.

The design of the 4.04-metre Audi A1 citycarver is based on the A1 Sportback, but it has a more muscular look achieved primarily through wheel arch enhancements and redesigned sills in a contrasting colour, underbody protection in a stainless steel finish and raised suspension giving around four centimetres of additional ground clearance for easier entry and better visibility. Its large, octagonal Singleframe is also reminiscent of the Audi Q models, and surrounds a strongly sculpted honeycomb insert painted in matt black. Two characteristic slots above the grille differentiate it from the A1 Sportback. At the rear, a new look bumper echoes the robust

    • SE trim is Arteon range’s new entry point at Ł33,085 RRP OTR
    • Three trim options now available on business-class fastback
    • MY20 changes add further value and tech to existing trims

The Volkswagen Arteon is gaining a new entry-level SE specification, making this stylish model available to even more customers who are in the market for a smart business-class fastback. The Arteon SE opens for order this week, with prices starting at Ł33,085 RRP OTR.

The Arteon SE adds a third level to the Arteon’s trim line-up. With the existing Elegance and R-Line specifications representing luxury and sportiness respectively, the SE now presents an even more value-focused offering to the range as the new entry point into Arteon ownership. Initially, the SE will be offered with a single engine option – a 2.0-litre TSI 190 PS petrol unit fitted with a 7-speed DSG, priced at Ł33,085 RRP OTR. A new diesel engine will be introduced later this year and is expected to make Arteon ownership even more accessible.

The SE’s equipment roster is impressively generous, with 18” Almere alloy wheels, full LED lights, adaptive cruise control with Front Assist, a Discover Navigation system with 8.0” touch screen display and three-zone climate control all fitted as standard, as well as two USB ports and front and rear parking sensors. Volkswagen’s Wireless App Connect system also brings the convenience of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without needing to plug in a device.

Three engine and gearbox configurations will come to make up the range on ...

    • MONTE CARLO trim level pays homage to the successful ŠKODA motor racing history
    • Sporty accessories and black design elements have defined lifestyle versions since 2011
    • Trim level for SCALA and KAMIQ to debut at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show in September

Monte Carlo, the glamorous urban district of the Principality of Monaco, is synonymous with lifestyle, elegance and motor racing. ŠKODA has claimed some of the greatest victories in its motor racing history at the famous Monte Carlo Rally. As far back as 1936, the company released a limited edition of 70 vehicles bearing the MONTE CARLO name. Since 2011, select ŠKODA models with a particularly sporty design and numerous black elements have commemorated this tradition, which is now continued by the SCALA MONTE CARLO and the KAMIQ MONTE CARLO. Both vehicles will be premiered at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Monte Carlo Rally and ŠKODA have a long-standing association stretching back over a hundred years. As early as 1912, when the Monte Carlo Rally was only in its second year, vehicles from Mladá Boleslav were among the competitors. In 1936, ŠKODA POPULAR took second place in its category – marking the start of the MONTE CARLO models. Following this outstanding success, ŠKODA released a limited edition of 70 vehicles that were derived straight from the rally car; they were the first to be given the MONTE CARLO designation.

Exactly 75 years later, ŠKODA revived the celebrated name when it introduced ...
