We had a customer with a seat leon 225 in the other day who had a small vacumn leak which cost him 25bhp and I was able to diagnose it quickly saving money guessing and fitting the wrong parts.

Another custermer had been having running problems on his A4 1.8t 163 and which left a fault code in the ecu (but not brought up the light on the dash) sugesting vacumn leak or crancase leak. When tested with the smoke tester it showed a leak from both lower breather pipe near the dipstick tube and the upper breather pipe at the back of the of the cam cover were leaking. To find these leaks/fault without this tool would of taken ages.

Smoke tests and diagnostic tests from £30 to forum members.
