    • New Octavia vRS comes with a choice of three different drive systems
    • Like the vRS plug-in hybrid, the 2.0 TSI petrol delivers 180 kW (245 PS), while the 2.0 TDI generates 147 kW (200 PS)
    • Typically vRS: black exterior accents and sporty interior
    • Dynamic Chassis Control for particularly dynamic handling in Sport mode

ŠKODA is continuing the tradition of its performance vRS models in the fourth-generation Octavia. This model is the first from ŠKODA, offered in three different drive systems. In addition to the Octavia vRS versions with either a petrol or a diesel engine, the Octavia vRS iV – the brand’s first vRS plug-in hybrid – is now being launched. Both the 2.0 TSI Octavia vRS and the Octavia vRS iV have an output of 180 kW (245 PS). The 2.0 TDI produces 147 kW (200 PS) and is the only model in the vRS range to be available with all-wheel drive on request. All three variants feature sporty bodywork detailing including vRS-typical black touches. The interior, with its traditional and dynamic design, is also predominantly black.

Since the success story of ŠKODA’s vRS family began in the year 2000 with the first-generation Octavia, the sportiest versions of a variety of the Czech manufacturer’s production models have borne the distinctive abbreviation ‘RS’. The letters stand for ‘Rally Sport’ and are reminiscent of the ŠKODA 180 RS and 200 RS rally prototypes as well as the success of the ŠKODA 130 RS at the Monte Carlo rally in the 1970s. ŠKODA built more than 17,600 units of the first Octavia vRS featuring a 1.8-litre turbo engine and generating 132 kW (180 PS) as a hatch initially – and, as of 2002, also as an estate. ...

Performance that justifies the hallowed ‘S’ badge is no problem for new Audi electric SUVs that are the first volume production cars to use three electric motors

    • e-tron S and e-tron S Sportback available for UK order from summer 2020 priced from Ł87,000 OTR and Ł88,700 OTR
    • A world first in volume production: three electric motors mobilise up to 370 kW of power and 973 Nm of torque
    • New quattro generation with electric torque vectoring
    • Outstanding aerodynamics thanks to intelligent technology

The ‘S’ prefix that subtly speaks volumes for devotees of high performance Audi TFSI and TDI models is about to move with the times and become an equally evocative suffix in two new flagship versions of the fully electric e-tron. The new e-tron S and e-tron S Sportback earn the right to bear the badge by being the first volume production BEVs to use the collective might of three electric motors to climb to a towering 973Nm torque peak, and by integrating intelligent drive control that elevates handling security and agility to a new level in the two all-wheel-driven variants.

“This is a significant milestone in the evolution of e-tron,” comments Director of Audi UK Andrew Doyle. “Audi performance cars have carried the 'S' badge since the 100-based S4 of the early Nineties, but this is the first time it has crossed the divide into our growing family of electrified models. We have started as we mean to go on, because in setting a new precedent in volume production by using three motors to deliver breathtaking performance and ultra-intelligent all-wheel-drive these e-trons underscore the fact that excitement and efficiency certainly won’t have to be mutually exclusive in the new era of electrification.”

    • The colour range of the Ducati Panigale V2 is extended with the new White Rosso livery, production from July 2020
    • The purity of Star White Silk white combines with the traditional Ducati Red colouring the rims, the front air intakes and the air deflectors of the upper half-fairings
    • Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia (Pramac Racing Team), riding the Panigale V2, is the protagonist of the photo-video shooting of the new livery at the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli"

The colour range of the Panigale V2 is extended with the new White Rosso livery, which goes alongside the monochromatic Ducati Red livery with which the bike was presented last November.

The new White Rosso livery has Star White Silk as its main colour. The predominance of white enhances the design of the Panigale V2, highlighting the lines and the purity of the geometrical shapes. At the same time the details in Ducati Red emphasize its sporty and powerful character. The Ducati Red colours the rims, the front air intakes and the deflectors of the upper half-fairings. These last two red touches ideally accompany the path of the airflows inside the motorcycle, i.e. those that feed the engine and those that pass through the radiator.

This new livery is completed with an additional touch of sportiness thanks to the positioning on the lower half-fairings of the large Panigale V2 logo, inspired by the graphics of Ducati Corse motorcycles.

Testimonial of the Panigale V2 and protagonist of the photo and video shooting of the new livery is the rider of the Pramac Racing Team Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia. In fact, Pecco was ...

    • Panoramic glass roof available on all Continental GTs
    • Viridian, Patina and Snow Quartz expand exterior paint palette choices to 62 shades
    • New steering wheel as standard across the range

This summer, customers of the iconic Continental GT coupe and convertible will have a greater choice of exterior paint colours, a new style steering wheel and the ability to specify a panoramic glass roof on the V8-engined GT coupe in addition to the W12.

From today, Bentley is adding to its full spectrum of exterior paints available on the Continental GT family with the introduction of three new options: Viridian, Patina and Snow Quartz. With the addition of the panoramic glass roof and further paint colours the number of configurations possible continues to grow, nearly surpassing 10 billion variations that a customer can personalise to their requirements.

Viridian is a modern take on the traditional British Racing Green, and the dark emerald metallic hue is inspired by that used on Bentley’s EXP10 Speed 6 concept car. The deep agate green with light green and blue undertones creates depth and a sporty dimension, and tiny flecks of amber and gold embody a sense of luxury.

Patina is inspired by the beautiful atmosphere and aura of polished metals with blends of champagne and silk. With an air of luxury and opulence, this mid-tone cream is enriched with the faintest hint of subtle greens.

Snow Quartz is a modern white three layer pearlescent paint which creates a simple and fresh silhouette. The finely layered ...

The Audi Q5 has been one of the bestselling SUVs in the premium mid-size segment on European markets for years. And now, Audi has made it even better and even more attractive. The optimized Q5 combines a sporty character with excellent everyday usability, and comes with a wide array of infotainment and assistance options. The sharpened exterior design of this highly successful model emphasizes the Q identity and boasts a rear light cluster featuring digital OLED technology for the first time worldwide.

The exterior design: Audi Q design language now even more distinctive

The strong Q identity characterizes the exterior of the Audi Q5 with its expression of power, robustness and safety. In executing the exterior update, Audi designers further emphasized this look and feel with a series of distinctive details. The octagonal Singleframe is now shallower and appears wider than before. The side air intakes have grown in height and are now structured by trapezoidal insets. The upper section of the LED headlamps features a new signature for the daytime running lights. Viewed from the side, the Q5 now has lighter look with greater ground clearance thanks to the redesigned sill insert. At the rear end is a new trim element between the light clusters and a new diffusor insert with a horizontal fin. As well as the standard trim there are also two optional design lines. The advanced line comes with chromed vertical ribs in the Singleframe, along with under-ride guards beneath the front and rear bumpers in silver instead of black. The S line comprises a sporty honeycomb in the Singleframe and a chrome strip framing the rear diffusor.

Two of the twelve available paint colors are new – district green and ultra blue. The black trim package is available as an option.

The interior design: a light touch and first-class quality

The horizontal emphasis of the interior design conveys a feeling of expanse and lightness. The sculptural, elegant sweep of the trim inlay ...

    • Mulsanne comes to the end of production after more than a decade
    • Unique ‘6.75 Edition’ rounds off the summit of automotive luxury
    • Socially-distanced colleague celebrations around final cars
    • Over 7,300 vehicles handcrafted in Crewe, Cheshire
    • Flying Spur becomes new flagship model

After more than a decade in production, the final example of the Mulsanne has been completed, signifying the end of an illustrious and extraordinary lifespan. Over 7,300 examples - all handcrafted at Bentley’s home in Crewe, Cheshire - have embodied Bentley’s ability to produce the ultimate luxury sedan.

With typical end-of-production celebrations curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Bentley Colleagues gathered for socially-distanced photographs with the final cars, and marked the departure of Mulsanne by sharing their thoughts of the outgoing Bentley flagship on camera.

Bentley is today releasing both this Colleague film and a suite of imagery of the penultimate customer car – a Mulsanne Speed ‘6.75 Edition by Mulliner’ finished in Rose Gold over Tungsten, heading to a lucky customer in the USA. One extremely special, final Mulsanne remains behind the penultimate car – however, its future home remains a closely guarded secret.

Mulsanne’s lineage can be traced back through Bentley’s history, from the original 8 Litre of 1930 - the last car designed and developed by W.O. Bentley himself – as the most luxurious, coach built Bentley of its time.
Bentley Chairman and Chief Executive, Adrian Hallmark, comments:

“The Mulsanne is the culmination of all that we at Bentley have learnt during our first 100 years in producing the finest luxury cars in ...
