  • New Škoda Octavia Scout – The adventure starts from just £25,315

    • Rugged off-road look incorporated with ŠKODA’s new design language
    • Advanced 4x4 technology based on fifth-generation Haldex-5 clutch
    • Fuel consumption reduced by an average of 20 percent
    • UK prices start from £25,315. On sale from July

Fully prepared and always ready for an adventure – the latest model to join the Octavia range is a true Scout in every sense. Building on the strengths of its acclaimed predecessors, the second-generation Octavia Scout is a unique all-rounder that combines off-road ability with exemplary on-road refinement and the brand’s famous practicality.
Priced from £25,315, the new Octavia Scout features an advanced, fifth-generation Haldex clutch transmission, along with sector-best levels of interior space and a host of safety and comfort systems. Yet despite a significant increase in size and specification, the new Octavia is 20 percent cleaner and more fuel-efficient than the previous model, delivering significant running-cost savings for owners.
Two engines and transmissions are available from launch: a 2.0 TDI 150PS with a six-speed manual gearbox and a 2.0 TDI 184PS featuring a six-speed DSG as standard. The former returns 55.4mpg on the combined cycle and has CO2 emissions of 129g/km, while the range-topping model returns 55.4mpg and has CO2 emissions of 134g/km.
In addition to its off-road ability, the new Octavia Scout offers all the acclaimed safety and comfort features of the standard model. All models are available with up to nine airbags and Crew Protection Assistant for vehicle safety in crash situations and Driver fatigue sensor.
A number of electronic comfort systems are available as options. These include: Intelligent Light Assistant and Park Assist. The Scout can also be supplied with a new rear-view parking camera.
Based on the Octavia Estate, the Scout has been an integral part of the Octavia range since its introduction in 2007. Between 2007 and the end of 2013, ŠKODA delivered around 53,600 Octavia Scouts to customers worldwide. This represents almost eight percent of all Octavia Estates delivered during this period.
