    Anyone can read fault codes and then replace whatever part the code says. Fault code reading is only the start of a successful diagnostic process. It's our training, knowledge and experience that allows us to use a fault code and then investigate the real cause of a problem. Yes, that costs money but is invariably cheaper than playing "parts darts" and wasting money on things that don't need replacing!
    Don't leave it to chance!!!

    Here at Drighlington MOT and Service centre we take pride in what we do. Our ongoing training programme and investment in new tools and technologies keeps us at the forefront of vehicle repair and servicing.

    We have two LUK qualified technicians accredited for the replacement of 7 speed DSG clutches and are the only workshop around who have this facility. If you are experiencing issues with these boxes, or for 6 speed problems, give us a call to discuss your needs.

    What do we check and replace during a full longlife service on your car? The answers are below.


    • Check front and rear lights
    • Check horn
    • Top up screen wash bottle
    • Check wiper blades
    • Check front (and rear) wash and wipe system and adjust jet settings
    • Check coolant strength and level (minimum -25C)
    • Check power steering fluid level
    • Add fuel & oil system cleaning solutions (optional)
    • Visual look over
