My 2L petrol sharan started misfiring when it was about 4 years old. The plugs were coated with carbon so I replaced them This repeated a year later. Now it has happened again after 10 months. This car is also the highest oil consuming car I have had. The plugs are also oily. It has low usage, but so did my previous Passat without any problems. Is this common with the Sharan?
