I have a 3.0 TDi Quattro 2009 with 20k miles which cuts out going down steep hills or travelling at speed over undulating road. Feels like there is a sensor which detacts the car going down a steep hill and shuts the fuel off. Okay on slight down hill, flat or up hill. Audi have had car for 2 days, witnessed the cutting out but havent responded positively.
Anyone witnessed anything similar??:1zhelp:

I live in quite to very hilly area of N Yorkshire. Sometimes the car seems to downshift for no reason on trailing throttle but engine never cuts out.I use manual mode to either switch up or down as need must .Try it.
