Hi

I have my audi A6 wheels re furbished twice because the first time it chipped off peices of the coating when I gave the car for new tyres. Then recently again it got chipped off peices. I amnow thinking no re furbished wheels last, the place said when you buy new wheels they are done differenctly than when you just snad blast them and power-coat them (re-furbish)

So what is the best way to get geniune audi wheels?

I have to say I find that very strange, and must be sub standard work.
I refurbed my own wheels and have NEVER had any problems as you describe.

Please see link below to my alloy wheel refurb c/w pics and write up if interested

I don't get it, this link is just a can. I paid £260 for all 4 wheels, professional refurbish place in birmingham, even has a ex-top-gear presenter on its web site recommending it.

i personally prefer painting and laquering the wheels as opposed to powder coating them it seems to be a bit more durable

Theres a place in birmingham I highly recommend for this.

They will dip, blast and powder coat up to 19" wheels for £20 each.

There web address escapes me and the moment but I will edit this when I remember!

So called "celebrities"don't care about honesty/integrity of adverts , the only thing they care about is getting the money !

There you go, 20 notes a wheel or 30 notes if theres tyres on. Cant be bad.

The one report on here I have seen concerning their work is slightly concerning!

You may want to ask for references before handing your wheels over...
