Is anyone else on here heading down to Newquay over the bank hol w/e for the annual VW pilgrimage that is RTTS?

This will be my 7th consecutive year!

Didn't really get many pics this year, due to the weather being rubbish and the lack of (good) cars. Sorry...

The feel of RTTS has been declining steadily since I first started going, with less and less VWs attending, particularly air-cooled. There are still a good amount of water-cooled VWs that go but unfortunately there is an equal amount (if not more) of lager louts, yobs and pikeys. It is still a good weekend if you know the places to avoid and don't stay at Trevelgue!

We got fed up with Newquay so on the Sunday we drove to Padstow. Not sure if you've been to Newquay recently but it really is quite rundown now and in desperate need of some kind of renovation!

There is a new VW event that has recently started on the same weekend in Plymouth. I think that's where I'll be heading next year.
