I recently changed my wiper blades on 02 Tdi sport, and have a problem with my drivers side wiper arm.
The new blade (Bosch Aero ones) don't sit flat on the drivers side, but fine on the passenger side.
Up shot is they miss part of the screen and leave smears and water right in my line of vision.
I had a look at the arms them selves and lifting them away from screen reveals that the drivers side one has lost all its spring. The new "springier" blade is literally lifting it's self off the screen.
Now the quick fix would be to swap the arms over, are they the same ?
And does anyone know the part number and how much a new arm would set me back ?
Not being able to see where I am going in the rain is getting a little annoying :biglaugh:
