A3 1'8 t sport suspension knock

I have an A3 1.8 T Sport. which has had a knocking noise from the passenger side suspension.I have replaced everything.shock absorber,spring,lower suspension arm,and balljoint.The only thing I can think it could be now is the C-V joint,but it isn't clunking on full lock like you would usualy find if a C-V joint was faulty!can anyone help please.This is driving me nuts,almost to the point I want to sell the car!!
