I've just got some 2004 A3 sport wheels for my 1997 A3 1.8T however the wheels don't fit as the PCD is different, I was wondering what the best way to fit them was, I've been reading about Wobble bolts and was hoping that this would work as it is the cheapest option. Does anyone know if this would work and if the different Offset would affect too much.

Cheers

Get PCD adapters............or the right wheels...........

Already got the wheels for a good price so don't really want to bump the price up with pcd adaptors, was hoping the woble bolts would do as the pcd is fairly close but have never used them

you can't seriously be thinking of putting them on without adapters.
Why would you buy wheels that don't fit, good price or not !!!

I was told they were 2002 wheels and they would fit and I'm stuck with them now, suppose i can just sell them on as they have new tyres worth more than I paid anyway

In an attempt to prevent me making the same mistake (wrong size for wrong model). I am looking for a set of 17's for my 1996 A3 1.8, What dimensions should I be looking for with these?

I really like some of the newer a3 wheels but am unsure if they will fit. Is there any easy way to find out?

Cheers for any response in advance.

Your car will have a PCD of 100x5, an 8P A3 will have a PCD of 112x5
I'm not sure what the ET will be.
