I am looking to check the valve timing on the above engine. Could some one please confirm the following?
Am I correct in saying that the Crank Timing is checked via the Hole in the Bell housing, and it lines up with the Machined tag on the Clutch Cover?
Is the Cam Shaft timing set by the Machined cut out in the rear of the Cam Shaft? If yes, am I correct in saying that the Cam is timed on No.1 Cylinder Firing? And Finally. Where is the Timing Mark for the Fuel Pump. I have found the mark on the Pulley, But Can not see where the Mark on the Engine is to line it up with. I am assuming that the the mark will be on the Stamped metal plate. But do not know where.
