New car search

I,m off to look at a 2003 1.8t Auto sport this afternoon for my mate.Anything to look out for as i've no experience of audi autos.Are they semi or full auto and are they reliable?Any advice would be appreciated.:beerchug:

You may have left it a bit late to do much research on the multitronic or aka the cvt auto box.
These have been known to be troublesome and costly.
If the car is quattro the auto box will be tiptronic which do not have the same issues as the cvt/multi box.
You may have time before you set off to do a google search on cvt/multitronic auto box's
Apart from these points just make sure the cam belt and tensioner and water pump have been changed at the correct time intervals,I think it's about 60/70 thousand miles or 4 years ,whichever comes first.
The only other issues would be those you would check on any car
