Recommended Air Con re-gassing W/NW London

Hello all

Yes yes it's that pesky econ light problem once again.
I know its a process of elimination with this problem.
I am planning ahead right now though and want to know if anybody knows and can recommend a air con specialist for my A4 1.8T.

Will stick it on my shareware version of Vagcom tonight.
I know at least it will tell me if there is some sort of fault or not.
I'm assuming it will provde the code and i can hit some of you guys up for a bit more info on it.

More imprtantly however and the purpose of this thread is finding a air con regasser in the harrow or surrounding area.

Hi, I'm having the same ECON light not going off problem.

Looking through the forums I figured the most probable thing was the gas pressure was down as the car is on 138k miles and in 4 years I haven't needed to re-gas it.

In the first instance I would reccommed Kwik-Fit, take advantage of their 'don't pay if it's not cooler offer'. Just don't take any crap if it isn't cooler, I always stay with the car and ask some 'dumb' questions there is no argument if they have told you the temp before and after.

In my case the ECON light didn't switch off, they took 0.545kg out of the system, it passed the 45min leak test and re-gassed to 0.5kg (feel i've been robbed of 0.045kg, but not £49 so I guess I can live with that)

I don't have access to VAG-COM, are there any indies near Wolverhampton / Cannock that can plug me in, I am assuming the high pressure sensor under the passenger headlight is my next target, but would like to check my codes.

Did you get this solved? If not, try Alpinair, just off the Hanger Lane roundabout, going towards wembley. Make a sharp left towards Selco, follow the orad down to the end and then go up the ramp to the newish looking warehouses. Alpinair is the first one on the left. Speak to Sam and say that Hasan with the Corrado sent you. He's not the cheapest but he's very honest and takes pride in his work.
