VW MK4 2002 CONSOLE question

Hi
can i ask what is the difference in the main console of the 2002 vw golf mk4 model in comparison with previous ones e.g. 2001(it has the climate control with blue screen as well, i assume the 2002 doesnt). Ihave found a mk4 that has 3 circle knobs on the bottom of the console (see pics to understand what i mean)

The only difference is that one car has climate control (optional extra) and one car doesnt. It has nothing to do with the model year
