Electric Window Motor

Hi all,

Does anybody know if an electric window motor from a 91 passat will fit a 96 model. Not sure if anything was changed with the facelift in 93.

if youre still wondering, no the motors arnt compatible.

the window lifters are the same (although slightly beefed up on the facelift model) but the motors are different- the facelift motor has some extra electronics and a different plug so cant be used on a pre-facelift one.

You can unbolt the motors from the mechs and swap mechs over no problem tho.
