audi a4 1.8 t 2002 fault code

Can anyone help
This problem is cuasing me head aches
I am still getting a coolant circuit fault code coming up

(17700) Map controlled engine cooling thermostate-F265
(OPEN CIRCUIT) this I think is making the engine run very rich
I have to date replaced the coolant temperature sensor at the back of the engine and the one that by the rad underneath.

Looking at fault codes on Ross tech it lists I have looked at all of these
all wires look ok that are going to the plug it click when I plug it on
is there any other wires that I need to check.

Any hidden fuses or conections.
