2000 facelift Sharan..CANBUS ??

Hi,

Sorry for all the questions but im sorting out odds and ends on our Sharan and need more advice.

2000 Face lift Sharan 1.9Tdi on a AUY engine..would this be CANBUS or not ? im after a HID kit and i heard some of the 35W kits can play havoc with the CANBUS. There are now 55W kit available and im looking to see if that is a better option.

Is mine pre CANBUS ??

Hi , I think your find that the early engines are k-line ,canbus units only started after 2004.unless someone tells you different.cheers moton
